OHO Portafrutta, 2018

OHO è un portafrutta d’ottone dal sapore retrò e al contempo futuristico: una preziosa creazione artigianale interamente lavorata e saldata a mano. L’oggetto nasce da una ricerca sulle possibili combinazioni tra diversi elementi tubolari. Il suo profilo – graficamente simile a quello della sequenza di lettere O, H, O – è stato estrapolato da un volume solido e trattato come un wire frame model in 3D. L’originalità di questo portafrutta sta anche nel fatto di essere del tutto permeabile, per mettere in relazione il contenitore al suo contenuto, svelandolo, ma anche modificandone costantemente l’aspetto.

OHO is a brass plate with a retrò taste and a futuristic twist: a precious artisan object entirely hand crafted. This creation comes from a research on different possible combinations of tubular elements. Its outline – similar to the sequence of letters O, H, O – has been extracted from a solid volume then worked like a 3D wire frame model. One of the most original aspects of this plate is its complete permeability, that relates contents and container, showing it and, at the same time, always changing the way it looks.
