Haidressing the Studio, 2013
Davide Diodovich, hair stylist and founder of 'The Studio' chooses to welcome his clients in an elegant 1930s apartment. glass partitions and decorative elements follow one another to make the most of the interiors and give customers that sense of intimacy and home-like feeling. To underline the deliberately homely declination, a custom-made kitchen for the preparation of tea: sacred rite and moment of sharing, two full-height volumes conceal its magic behind large inlaid doors inspired by the designs of Jean-Michel Frank. Every detail is studied and makes the difference: thanks to these devices the professional elements become domestic, the workstations play with each other becoming consoles with large backlit mirrors and marble tops while the furniture for the preparation of the color winks at the rigor of the 1930s thanks to the black and white painted iron shelving with brass inserts. Lastly, the guest bathroom: a precious box in carrara marble where the sense of space is characterized by the refined contrasting perimeter in black marquinia marble.
